This was the First Issue of the Crier. It aims to be a Tabletop Publication that features community members project updates, announcements, advertisements, and other engagements. One of the strongest feats of the Crier is that it offers all members of the community, no matter their size or branding, to contribute and get their message out. FAQs and Publication Information

How do I participate in the Crier?

Each Individual, Group, or Organization that is related to the Tabletop Community is welcome to submit a project update, advertisement, announcement, or description of services to the Crier. Each submission is allotted 1 photo 200 (horizontal) x 250 (vertical) or larger that will allow these dimensions when resized, 550- 650 characters (including spaces), and 1 title between 5-40 characters (including spaces). Please send your submission to legendsofravenhall@gmail.com. In the subject line, please put “TOWN CRIER” + “DATE” + “YOUR SUBMISSION TITLE” The title is what your submission will be called, and how it will be organized.

How much does it cost to contribute to the Crier?

The cost of a submission is FREE for one submission. If you want more space, please contact us directly to discuss terms at legendsofravenhall@gmail.com. In the subject line, please put “TOWN CRIER” + “DATE” + “EXTRA SPACE”.

How often do I need to submit new information?

You only need to submit new information, or update your previous information, whenever you want! If you have monthly updates, please sent them to us monthly, as described above. If you only have a change every other month or a few times a year, just do it whenever you are ready! Note, typically but not always, newer entries will be chosen to be highlighted each month over older entries.

Can I have more space?

More space could include advertisement, word count, or any other request for more inclusion in the publication. If you want more space, please contact us directly to discuss terms at legendsofravenhall@gmail.com. In the subject line, please put “TOWN CRIER” + “DATE” + “EXTRA SPACE”.

Can I sponsor the Publication?

Yes, we would consider sponsors. If you wish to sponsor Ravenhall’s Town Crier, please email us directly at legendsofravenhall@gmail.com to discuss terms. In the subject line, please put “TOWN CRIER” + “DATE” + “SPONSOR”.

Can I submit a full article for the monthly highlight?

An article, in this case, is not the same as a free submission open to the tabletop community that is confined to the perimeters above. An article could be from your website, or unique for this publication, that is longer in length than a free submission. Also, the article must not simply be an advertisement, announcement, or project update. It must also teach, inform, or impact the community more broadly. We welcome article submissions, but we will post them at our discretion. Please email us at legendsofravenhall@gmail.com with the subject line reading “TOWN CRIER” + “DATE” + “ARTICLE” to discuss directly with us. Your article or other writing will be posted in the monthly highlight post that we have on our website, newsletter, and social media pages.

Can I feature artwork in the monthly highlight?

Yes, we welcome the inclusion of artwork. Artwork, in this case, is not the same as a free submission photo that is open to the tabletop community as described above. To include artwork, you must be the artist or have the rights to the artwork. Artwork submissions could also could include large pieces of art, or collages. We welcome artwork submissions, but we will post them at our discretion. Your artwork will be posted in the monthly highlight post that we have on our website, newsletter, and social media pages.

Where is the Town Crier published?

The Crier is published is in online format right here. It is also highlighted in a blog post each month, linked to our Twitter Account, Facebook Page, Board Game Geek Blog, Board Game Designer’s Forum Blog, and Monthly Newsletter. Also, it can be found on various pages of contributors and readers who wish to further share the document.
