What is Headhunter Madness?
Headhunter Madness is an annual game that takes place in March each year where participants can vote in an online March Madness-style Headhunter game. This game takes place over four rounds and features the 160 characters in the base game of Headhunter: Hilarious Hires from History, as well as many of the Position cards. Voting is recorded live on our site, and each voting round takes approximately one week.
Round 1 features 160 characters, set in 10 groups of sixteen characters. The top four characters in each group will advance to the next round. When voting, you may only choose to give salaries to 4 of the candidates- the other 12 will be left blank (not-hired).
Round 2 features 40 characters, set in 4 groups of ten characters. The top three characters in each group will advance to the next round. When voting, you may only choose to give salaries to 3 of the candidates- the other 7 will be left blank (not-hired).
Round 3 features 12 characters, set in 2 groups of six characters. The top two characters in each group will advance to the final round. When voting, you may only choose to give salaries to 2 of the candidates- the other 4 will be left blank (not-hired).
Round 4, the Final Round, features the final four characters in one final matchup. The single winner is the Champion. When voting, you may only choose to give the salary to 1 of the candidates- the other 3 will be left blank (not-hired).
Characters are randomized based on previous performance in Headhunter Madness Tournaments. Characters are then randomly placed into groupings. After random groupings are established, positions are randomly selected for each matchup. Characters that make it into the next round are placed into new groupings based on balancing remaining seeds randomly and selecting random job positions. If there are ever any tie breakers, they will be determined by die rolls.
Rules and How to Play
Everyone can play Headhunter Madness by simply voting on each matchup in each of the four rounds. This is done by checking each week that the game takes place, and voting for each group of characters. Voting is completed by answering this question: “Who would you rather hire…?” Various postions will be presented, and you choose who should be hired. The day after the voting for each round ends, the results will be posted and the next round will be set up.

Round 4 March 25-31
Champion Announcement: April 1st
Are there prizes?
Yes.
There will be prizes for each correct guess for the final four candidates and for the Champion.
IF you guess one of the final four characters correctly, you will get a 10% discount for our online store.
IF you guess the Champion correctly, you will get a 25% discount for our online store.
IF you guess all four of the final four characters correctly, but do not guess the Champion correctly, you will receive a 50% discount for our online store.
